This newsletter tells an alternative account of Labour’s Brexit failure in 2019 following the arguments of a campaign called Take a Break from Brexit. It’s an attempt to understand why Boris Johnson won the 2019 General Election despite an absolute majority of Britons were consistently opposing his Brexit plans. You can read a teaser at this link. It will consist of several chapters posted over the course of 2022. It’ll cover topics in political theory and cognitive psychology, as well as offering an original historical perspective of a momentous year in British politics. It’s written with the conviction that it’s only understanding the past that we can plan for a better future.

Hopefully it will be of interest. Feedback and constructive comments are absolutely welcome.
